Game Rules

Age Limit
We are insured for ages 12 and Over

Eye Protection
Rift Airsoft Highly recommends FULL FACE Protection for all Players.
UNDER 18's MUST WEAR FULL FACE PROTECTION TO COMPLY WITH OUR INSURANCE
Full Face Protection will be available to borrow if required.
All players who bring their own Eye Protection on Site MUST ensure it can withstand a point-blank impact from a .20g bb @ 500fps.

FPS Limits

Pistols:
Spring, Co2 or Gas - not to exceed 350fps
(Co2 Weapons: Please insert a NEW Gas Bulb so we can Chrono it at its highest point - thank you)

Shotguns:
Spring, Co2 or Gas, single or Multishot - not to exceed 350fps

Electric or Gas Assault Weapon:
350 FPS - Full Auto allowed at range - Single Shot when close.
2 Second Burst at all times.

Support Weapons:
MAX 370 FPS - 20 Meter Minimum Engagement Distance (MED).
Support Weapons Firing between 350-370 FPS must adhere to 20 Meter engagement rule & may use a 4 second burst, with the bi-pod deployed, firing from a static fixed position. A Support Gunner may use a 2 second burst when they are moving from one position to another.
Side arm/smg required for CQB.

Support Weapons Firing 350 fps and below may engage at close range, however, we will ask that you do NOT fire Full Auto point blank at another player.
4 Second Burst allowed as long as the Bi-Pod is deployed and the weapon is being fired from a static fixed position.

DMR - Semi Auto Only
Maximum 500fps 30 Meter Minimum Engagement Distance.
2/3 Second delay between shots / wait until the first shot has landed before firing again.
(typical battery operated Semi Auto Weapon) - side arm/smg required for CQB.

Sniper / Bolt Action:
Maximum 500fps - 30 Meter Minimum Engagement Distance.
(typical long range Sniper - side arm/smg required for CQB)

Joule limits:
Generic RIF; Full auto allowed = 1.13 joules (NO minimum engagement)
Support Weapon, Full Auto allowed = 1.27 joules (20 minimum engagement)
Single shot only = 2.32 joules (30 minimum engagement)

Moscart Launchers:
NO Point Blank Shots.
NO Aiming for the HEAD.

We allow all Airsoft weapons on Site as long as they are strictly in line with UK LAW.

Airsoft Guns ONLY - *No "BB" Airguns*
6mm Plastic BB's ONLY - *No Metal or Glass BB's*
NO TAG ROUNDS - NO "40 MIKE" or Master MIKES

We allow the use of Hobby Lasers up to Class III/3r (Red or Green)
It is strictly forbidden to directly aim the Laser towards players eyes.
Lasers are to be used to intimidate and mark targets.

If you have a very high rate of fire, please keep to a ONE second burst when fired Fully Automatic to AVOID OVERKILL
HPA Weapons are welcome but must remain locked to the correct FPS limit for that particular Weapon type.

Pyrotechnic & Blank Fire Grenades
Only UK approved pyro/smokes are permitted on site.
Pyro (flashBangs & smokes) are to be used by 18’s and over.
Mk5 Pyro permitted (nothing louder please) see HOST on the day if required.
All UK Legal Pyro and 9mm/12gauge BFG's are allowed.
Tripwires/Mines/Boobytraps are allowed.
All Grenades have an invisible "kill radius" of 5 Meters.

A Full Safety Brief will be held before the Games begin!

When you create a Booking; Full names are manually transferred to a game list on the main Rift Airsoft Website that is open to public view.
This List exists so you can confirm your Booking and any equipment (if required) you have reserved.
If you DO NOT wish for your name to appear on the Game List, please let us know BEFORE you make your booking.

Information

We will run ALL EVENTS with LOWER Numbers & follow distancing guidelines to keep you and our Staff as Safe as possible.
There are several BOOKING changes that you will need to be aware of:

1.) All Bookings and now "Pre-Pay" (this will be temporary)
2.) Game Fee has gone up from £25 to £30
3.) Up-to-date Members get £5 off the £30 Game Fee (=£25)
4.) you MUST show your Membership Card when you sign in to receive the £5 discount.

5.) Hire Kit Package: Masks are £5 extra and you take them home!
6.) If you have a Game Pass or GOLD CARD - Payment is not required at time of Booking)
7.) ANY Weekend Events in JULY - PLEASE only Book for ONE of the TWO DAYS (not both!) To give everyone a chance to play!
8.) Payment will be taken through secure PayPal. You will NOT need a PayPal account, so everyone can use it 🙂

Changes to Event Days:
The SAFEZONE is the "main concern area" as that is where we gather, socialise etc.
This area will now be a STRICT social distance Zone with specific rules and capped numbers.
Our Focus will be to limit the number of people in the SAFZONE at any one time - so we will be running almost "all day Airsoft"
in which you dip in and out of the Game (choose your own break time) so there isn't a mass gathering at lunch!
Lunch will be when you feel like it!
We will ask everyone to eat in their Car, work out of their Car and keep distance from those you did not travel with!
Surgical Style Masks in the SAFEZONE are not compulsory. We do recommend Full Face Masks in the Game Area.
Our Chrono area & Shooting Range will be open but limited to a few people at a time.
At this moment in time Combat-UK will not be running the Site Shop, however, RIFT will still be selling Ammo, Gas & Pyro as usual.
Rift Airsoft has completed a new updated Risk Assessment that will comply to the most up to date regulations.

Hygiene
Hand wash stations (Sanitiser Gel) will be supplied and distributed around the Safezone & in the Toilets.
ALL Participants will be required to use them BEFORE entering the Toilet, then use them BEFORE you EXIT the Toilet.
Please bring your own Gel if you have some.
Please bring your own PEN to sign in with.
Use contactless Payment as much as you can (we still take cash)
We highly recommend you do NOT CAR SHARE with those who you do not share your "bubble" with.

Illness:
Please DO NOT Book in to any Event if you or any close Family have been feeling poorly or show any signs of COVID-19.
We MUST support each other and ensure we minimise all risks to ZERO.
